Scope and Contents
Architect. Drawings of residences, commercial buildings, and design concepts by Michigan architect Harvey Ferrero, who apprenticed with Bruce Goff in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, in 1958-1960. The collection includes drawings (1955-2014) for built and unbuilt projects for which he was architect, as well as several Bruce Goff-designed residences. Photographs (1960-2010) in the collection depict renderings, residences, and commercial buildings by Ferrero, including the Max Klein Building in Southfield, Michigan. An accompanying minor series of papers (1957-2019) contains news articles on architecture, original and copies of letters to Ferrero from Goff, and a published portfolio (2014) of Ferrero’s works.
