Scope and Contents

Black-and-white and color original and copy prints of Everett F. Drumright, U.S. Ambassador to Taiwan, his wife Florence Teets Drumright, and their families and scenes from his career in the Foreign Service. This collection includes images of military and commercial airplanes, airports, the Aviation Writers Association, the Drumright wedding ceremony, and the China Foundation. Locations include New York City, South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Germany, India, Hawaii, and California. Noted personalities are Dwight D. Eisenhower, Chiang Kai-Shek, Madame Kai-Shek, George Yeh, Margaret Bourke-White, and John Dulles; plus images of members of the United States armed forces and foreign service. Unpublished finding aid available.
