Scope and Contents
Black-and-white copy prints of Cheyenne and Arapaho Indians from the Clinton, Oklahoma area. The collection features images of Indian church congregations (mainly Mennonite), encampments, and a powwow held in the early 1950s. Prominent Cheyennes pictured are Wolf Chief, White Shield, Tall Bear, Wolf Face, and White Skunk. Unpublished finding aid available.
