Noble's commissions as captain (1919) and major (1930) in the United States Army Medical Corps; a paper (1931) by Noble entitled "Examination of the Chest" and advertising literature (1940-1952) for medical products. Noble prcticed medicine in Muskogee, Oklahoma from 1905 to 1918 before his enlistment in the Army Medical Corps. Joseph Glass Noble Photograph Collection also in repository.
