Newspaper articles (1941-1967) and publications (1942-1954), and book (1944) regarding the United States Naval Air Station and the United States Naval Air Technical Training Center, both of which were located in Norman, Oklahoma. Included in the collection are stories regarding the establishment, operation, closing and the condition of life at the University of Oklahoma. Materials include Primary gunnery training program, We keep 'em flying, Take-off, The Norman log, and the book entitled The smooth log. Collection also includes programs, announcements, invitations, and greeting cards.
