Correspondence of Columbus E. Hewlett and Lena Rausch during their courtship and shortly after marriage. There are 46 letters from Hewlett to Rausch, 10 of which are from Poteau, Oklahoma, and 36 are from Exeter, Missouri; 2 letters are from Rausch to Hewlett from Pierce City, Missouri; and five tintype photographs. Hewlett worked for the St. Louis and San Francisco Railway Company.
