Documents regarding territorial and early statehood-era Kansas, including land settlement brochures, U.S. Centennial Celebration programs (1876), and government proclamations and patriotic programs (1863-1873). Also a leaflet (1879) regarding the settlement of former slaves in Kansas, and a leaflet (1888) published by the Plainsville School Board denying that it was ordering history texts sympathetic to the Confederate cause.
