External to this archive but part of the larger Pope collection are: 82 LP audio discs in vinyl and shellac as well as books, postcard sets, and partial journal runs. These materials are cataloged into the History of Science Collections, University of Oklahoma Libraries and may be found by searching the online catalog using the term "gift of the Pope family in memory of their son Jackson Pope III". Some of the 82 discs were created early in the 20th century and have no clear date expression. The latest vinyl audio disc was created in 2010. The earliest books were printed in the 18th century.
Condition Description
Materials are in good condition with the exception of three broken shellac audio recordings.
