Collector. A short, typewritten copy of a travel diary (1908) on traveling through Kansas and Oklahoma, along with copies of three letters (1849-1873). One letter is from Beni Wingate writing from Ft. Gibson, Indian Territory, in 1850 regarding family matters; the second is from George Mower, writing from the Platte River in Nebraska Territory in 1849 and commenting on what he had seen since leaving St. Joseph, Missouri; and the third (1873) is a brief letter of introduction for a salesman operating out of Denison, Texas.

Collectors. One 46-star United States flag which is double-sided and machine-sewn, with many basting stitches present. Oklahoma is represented by the 46th star added to the flag when it became a state on November 16, 1907. The 46-star flag was the official U.S. flag from July 4, 1908 to July 4, 1912, when the stars for New Mexico and Arizona were added.
