Professor. Correspondence and papers (1978-1990) of William F. Muhs a professor of finance at Washington State University and Montana State University and research materials (1847-1990) he collected about industrial efficiency pioneer Harrington Emerson. These include records and publications of Emerson's businesses the Emerson Company, Emerson Engineers, and Emerson Institute. Also included are photographs (1879-1929) of Harrington Emerson and his family, and sound recordings (1978-1982) from Muhs' research on Emerson, and from management conferences he attended.

Governor. William H. Murray’s Masonic Society certificates (1911) and nomination (1930) for the office of governor of Oklahoma, and an invitation (1931) for Governor Murray to attend a banquet in California. The collection also includes blank certificates for membership in the Chickasaw Squirrel Rifles.

Architect. Papers and architectural drawings by William Haney, who studied architecture at the University of Oklahoma under Bruce Goff. The papers contain Haney’s recollections of his early interest in architecture, his student days at OU, and his later work as a minister for the Unitarian Universalist Church in Columbia, Missouri. The drawings reflect Haney’s work during the period of 1949-1965, which includes some assignments as an architecture student. The collection also contains photographs of Bruce Goff with Duke Ellington, and digitized copies of the photographs and selected drawings.

Murphy’s papers contain correspondence with Herb Greene, Lloyd Wright, Bruce Goff, Esther McCoy, and others. The papers also contain publicity materials, posters, and clippings about exhibitions, building projects, and architects. The graphic materials include drawings created over the span of Murphy’s career as an architect from his student days at the University of Oklahoma, to his work for New York University, at Kahn and Jacobs, and his partnership with Louis Muller. The Herb Greene materials include drawings created as a student of Bruce Goff at the University of Oklahoma, as well as later works.

The collection includes Haseman’s student biology/zoology notebook (1902) and a Sooner Magazine article (1952) describing Haseman’s contributions to developing the seismic reflection method of petroleum prospecting.

Architect. One black-and-white photographic print (1952) of the construction of the Home Economics building, later known as Burton Hall, on the University of Oklahoma’s Norman campus. The building was designed by architect and OU faculty member, William Stanley Burgett, and was completed in 1952.
