Correspondence (1888-1921), news clippings (1896-1921) and two scrapbooks (1896-1917) of news clippings and broadsides, regarding the life of Turner, his campaign for election as a U.S. Senator from Oklahoma, and his involvement with finance. Of special note are a number of letters (1916-1920) addressed to Turner from Brig. Gen. John J. Pershing requesting Turner's assistance in obtaining Pershing's promotion to the rank of Major General.

The entries in the expense ledgers prior to November, 1907 concern legal services provided for a number of Choctaw Indian families experiencing difficulty in receiving or claiming allotments.
