The manuscript collection complements the Paul E. Klopsteg collection of books and journals relating to archery and the history of archery. It consists of materials collected by Klopsteg and donated to the university along with his archery library. The items are arranged in folders by author or creator of each item in generally alphabetic order. One exception: the folder labeled "Archery correspondence" consists of letters to, and copies of letters from the Collection concerning the Klopsteg Collection.

Unpublished dissertation (1964) written by Sanders in French for the Sorbonne University in Paris, France, and entitled "Le Theatre de Henri-Rene Lenormand." Bound within are letters (1952-1964) from Paul Blanchart, Gabriel Marcel and Jean-Jacques Bernard, as well as an edict (1815) by King Louis XVIII authorizing Pierre-Henri-Rene Lenormand to collect taxes in his district of Paris.
