Brenda J. Stubel Architectural Drawings
Architect. Architectural drawings by Brenda J. Stubel primarily for the set design of Everyman: A Sacred Opera, which premiered at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas, in March of 1986. Stubel was a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s School of Architecture and a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church.
Brian Holton Papers
Translator. This collection contains the professional papers (1971-2020) of Brian Holton, translator of award-winning poet Yang Lian’s poetry from Chinese to English and Scots. The papers contain correspondence, translation drafts, writing and research notes, and diaries related to Holton’s translation work, teaching, and associated activities. Printed publicity materials from poetry readings, festivals, and other events document many of his public appearances. Also included are documents and photographs on computer disks, as well as recorded readings and performances on both digital and analog media.

A journal kept by Joseph R. Smith of New York, recording his experiences while on a surveying expedition through Indian Territory. Smith describes the expedition's encounters with hostile Comanches, friendly Osages, severe weather and insect hordes. Also included in this collection are photocopies of a legislative document (1858) and a published article (1850), both regarding Creek Nation boundaries.
