Oral history collection. Typescripts of interviews conducted with hundreds of American Indians in Oklahoma regarding the histories and cultures of their respective tribes. Included are accounts of Indian ceremonies, customs, social conditions, philosophies, and standards of living. Members of every tribe resident in Oklahoma were interviewed.

Ledgers (1896-1922), including daybooks (1898-1918), cashbooks, notary records (1904-1906), funeral records (1901-1911), ginners' cotton books, and books recording cotton bought and sold from the company's general store and cotton ginning operation. Also included in this collection are a petition from Spiro, Indian Territory regarding the relocation of the U.S. District Court, and the Treasurer's records from a Spiro-area school district.

U.S. Court. A prisoner docket book kept by U.S. marshal Leo E. Bennett of the Northern District of Indian Territory, Muskogee, Indian Territory, for the years 1897-1900. The book records prisoners' names, race, age, criminal charge, date received, arresting officer, committing judge, sentence, and dates released.
