A Comanche-English dictionary, with Comanche alphabet and diacritical markings, compiled by Detrick while serving as an interpreter for the Red Store Trading Post at Fort Sill, Indian Territory. The collection also includes typescripts on the Comanche language, customs and conventions, the Lord's Prayer in Comanche, a translated Comanche reminiscence with language notes and explanations, and a typewritten memoir by Detrick on his work at the Trading post.
