Commissions, orders, and property reports (1881-1906) regarding Frederick Stanley Dewey's service as both a contract surgeon and as an assistant surgeon with the U.S. Army in the Philippines; correspondence (1898-1912) regarding a lawsuit over a land claim in Oklahoma Territory; matriculation cards and notices of examination results (1877-1879) from St. Louis Medical College; and a journal (1884), all belonging to Frederick S. Dewey. Also included are commissions, orders, property reports and discharge papers (1861-1867) of George H.
