Collection consists of photocopies and typescripts (1890-1987) including autobiographies of Marjorie Beard Smalley (regarding family history and Depression-era Sapulpa), her father Lyman F. Beard (a Rough Rider), and her mother, Buda McCormick Beard (the first school teacher in Shawnee). Typescripts of newspaper articles and personal letters relate to these and other family members, some of whom were prominent in Oklahoma local history.
