Foerster earned a B.S. (1925) and an M.D. (1927) from the University of Oklahoma, and practiced medicine in Oklahoma City and Ada, Oklahoma, and New York City, New York.

Correspondence (1924-1928) and memorabilia (1932-1936) from Marion Murray, the wife of Johnston Murray, to family members in Oklahoma regarding the experiences of the Murray family in Bolivia, the establishment of William H. Mrs. David H. Bandy Collection

Collector. Artifacts collected by relatives of Okmulgee, Oklahoma, resident Mrs. David H. Bandy, during their travels and military service. Items include an opium box and a small clock obtained from Tien-Tsin, China, during the Boxer rebellion, which were given to Mrs. Bandy’s brother, Harry M. Lunsett, during his service in the U.S. Army during the Spanish-American War; and Canadian and Mexican coins collected by her husband, David H. Bandy. An obsidian arrowhead, a piece of coral, and newspaper clippings about World War II are also part of this collection.
