This is the red rock house built by the Chastains and later bought by the Westervelts. It was a landmark for travelers in Cleveland County. The house stood on the north side of Old Highway 9, mile east of the Cerebral Palsy Center on Alameda Street. All of the early Norman farm fairs and 4th of July picnics were held in a grove of trees on this farm., Undated
