Correspondence (1888-1921), news clippings (1896-1921) and two scrapbooks (1896-1917) of news clippings and broadsides, regarding the life of Turner, his campaign for election as a U.S. Senator from Oklahoma, and his involvement with finance. Of special note are a number of letters (1916-1920) addressed to Turner from Brig. Gen. John J. Pershing requesting Turner's assistance in obtaining Pershing's promotion to the rank of Major General.

Correspondents include Winston Churchill, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Lord Louis Mountbatten, Mao Tse-tung, Chiang Kai-shek, Herbert Hoover, Douglas MacArthur, Henry A.
